Vision Partners responded by performing a feasibility test so that the client's exact criteria became clear. The client indicated that they also wanted Vision Partners to carry out the entire construction of the vision control system.
Vision Partners then did the further evaluation for the necessary hardware and software where it was important that the operator could also see what the measured quality by the cameras was and in case of an anomaly immediately receive an alarm and see in 1 storage where and why this alarm had occurred.
To provide this, Vision Partners provided 1 large touchscreen on which all images and readings from all 3 control locations could be seen immediately. We chose 3 compact switch boxes directly at the setups so that minimal cabling was required from the camera setups to the operator position.
Vision Partners has also provided a number of presets so that the operator can immediately select the correct product to be controlled including the correct settings.
For each measurement position, 3 industrial Ethernet cameras and light source were chosen so that the cable could be inspected completely 360 degrees all around.
Hereby Vision Partners designed a frame which was narrow enough to be placed in the line and which was also foldable so that it would not be in the way when working. This also provided a dust-proof solution and mechanically protected the cameras from external influences.
