The contents of the package consist of 1 layer of folding paper which is placed in their machines as a package. It is important here that the position of the sticker is correct and also the direction so that this stack of folding paper is always placed correctly by the employees in the machines.
For this, Vision Partners used a smart vision camera type Pictor M1606/E which checks the package during production for the following properties:
- Position adhesive sticker on package correct
- Direction of adhesive sticker on package correct
- No folds in the package under the film
- Transparent film completely tightly closed around package
By using a polarized filter on the lens and on the backlight, we were able to properly detect even loose transparent film. With this, we were able to fulfill all of the customer's wishes regarding packaging requirements through our intelligent vision system. The vision software development was first tested in house and then put into operation at the customer's site.
