Vision Partners has developed a customer-specific machine vision 3D inspection system where multiple 3D cameras are used to check the contents of each flower bucket. In case the flower bucket is too grossly contaminated; the bucket is ejected.
Empty crate inspection
Multiple 3D cameras create a 3D point-cloud of the crate after which machine vision software determines the degree of contamination of each crate, - independent of color, type of contamination and humidity. The trigger ring of the image capture takes place with the robust sensors of Sensor Partners.
This was a turn-key delivery where Vision Partners developed, installed and released the complete inspection module. Communication takes place with the parent system whereby automatic switching takes place between the different types of flower buckets. The performance of the 3D inspection is also visible on the (mobile) customer dashboard so that the customer and operators have real-time insight into the car wash performance.
According to satisfied customer: "Thanks to this 3D inspection, the capacity of the car wash was significantly improved due to less unplanned machine downtime.“
