We already had a lot of experience with various digital recording systems, where the setup is often slightly different depending on the specific needs of the customer, and also in the field of industrial enclosures, but a solution for a climatic chamber was still new.
That this is not an everyday occurrence became clear when the customer indicated that he had been looking for this for some time but had not yet been able to find a supplier or climate manufacturer that could offer it.
All the more of a challenge for us to be able to complete this job with a system customized for the customer but again assembled with standard products.
Since the cameras also had to be able to be set up flexibly and thus everything had to remain compact and manageable, Vision Partners opted for an exclusive cooling system based on water cooling.
A manufacturer with whom we do business more often was able to help us with an industrial and compact cooling unit in which they could also provide 4 camera housings against which separate cooling units could be mounted. Through these cooling units cooling water flows with specific coolant which ensures that the entire camera housing is cooled or heated depending on the measured temperature in the camera housing itself.
The advantage here was that we could use standard Ethernet cameras in HD resolution and we could also use a standard recording PC with the recording software we already knew.
In doing so, Vision Partners ensured that a Plug&Play IP67 system was prepared and assembled and in doing so performed the handover of the total setup on site at the customer's premises so that the customer's test engineers were then immediately able to perform their camera recordings themselves after setup in the climate chamber.
