Vision Partners installed a turn-key system for label presence inspection. Upon detection of a new package by an ultrasonic sensor, the smart camera takes a high-resolution image. The software analyzes this image for presence and correct label placement. The inspection results are transmitted to the PLC for possible emissions or production line downtime.
The smart camera used has a compact size with integrated imaging, processing and communication functions, and delivers enhanced performance through advanced vision detection tools.
Thanks to proper preparation, this automatic label presence inspection was quickly installed without significant disruption to the production process.
